Ben Baghai, DDS
Dr. Ben BaghaiHaving practiced as a pediatric dentist for over 20 years, Dr. Ben says he still looks forward to coming to work every day because kids are fun and unpredictable, which keeps things interesting! He loves getting to know his patients and their families and making sure they’re able to face each milestone with a strong and confident smile. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Unlike most kids, Dr. Ben loved his dentist growing up, so he thought about it as a career in school starting at a young age. After shadowing a few dentists, it was clear that dentistry was going to be his home, and he hasn’t looked back since!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Ben earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He then completed a year’s fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he focused on treating medically compromised children, and he received his specialty training at Lutheran Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
On top of specializing in pediatric dentistry, he subspecializes in treating large esthetic cases using zirconia crowns, which is the most beautiful material to fix teeth with. This expertise led him to being the guest speaker on the subject at Il Dentista Dei Bambini in Italy.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Ben and his wife, Aida (who he says is the most positive and happy person he knows), have two young children, Liam and Lenna. When he isn’t spending quality time with family, he likes to cook, bike, jog, and travel the world.
